Sandringham: Sunday 15th November 2015
"If you are going to travel all the way up to King's Lynn you need to make sure that you aren't wasting your time. Well the team of 31 young runners certainly weren't. With six individual podium places and every year team getting medals of one colour or another it was the best set of results for us yet.
Perhaps the big surprise were our year 7's who now have a lot to live up to. Result of the day probably Jack Forrest's win in year 8 although really pleased for Sam Peat in year 13. For the record:
Torquay Boys' Grammar School (TBGS) and Colyton Grammar School (CGS) entered teams for the National Schools' Score Championships on Cobham Common last month, and came away with a one/two in the Upper Secondary Boys category, with 15 teams competing. TBGS also came away with first place in the Lower Secondary Boys category, again with 15 teams competing.
Great to see DEVON Juniors doing so well (again) on the national stage!
