Devon League 2016 -17

After 6 Events

Devon League Table (Following River Dart Country Park Event):

Devon League 2016-17 V6

For the Devon league competition the best of 5 events count for Brown to Light Green courses, whilst the best of 4 events count for Orange and Yellow courses (juniors only). Scores with a yellow background are discounted because of this.

So starting at the top we have Ben Chesters (M35) on the Brown course with a clean run of 5000 points with Michelle Spillar (W35) as the leading woman. The blue course continues to be particularly competitive and close. Currently Tom Lillicrap (M70) and Ella Bowles (W55) are leading, although a good number of people could finish in the top 5. Tommy Wright (M14) and Meg Somers (W16) lead the Green course, but a number of older competitors are not far behind. Light Green has Edward Purchase (M14) leading with Claire Twomey (W35) just behind. There will also be tight competition to finish in the top 5 on this course.

On the Orange course Guy Owen (M12) with 2 scores (both wins) and Sarah O'Connor (W14) with 2 scores are leading. Finally, on the Yellow course, Ben Perry's (M10) consistency is paying off with 4 scores to count, 3 of which have been wins, with Jessica Ward (W10) as the first female.

There is much to play for. Next event: Knightshayes Sunday 30th April. Tim Gent
