Organiser's Comments:

After Erik Peckett's efforts in remapping Knightshayes National Trust property alongside Alan Simpson's planning of the Relay event at Knightshayes we had a great, dry, day out with the Devon Orienteering Club. The new Khyham club tent proved a worthy replacement to the old tired one and the use of a club large-size noticeboard was a success. Our SI team worked well in sorting out the relay teams starts and results. Sue and Roger Hateley controlled this event well and all other helpers made this event happen which is another good day for the Devon club.

The Byfoot Trophy was won by the Grierson family team who are a great asset to Devon and all runners had a good day out.

I give my thanks to all who helped and also to everyone who turned out to run and help their teams.

We are also very grateful to Raef Johnson and the other Knightshayes staff in welcoming us onto their estate, and helping the event run smoothly.

Thanks all, Tim Gent.
