DEVON ORIENTEERING CLUB ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2023

Taking place on Friday 27th October at 1900hrs

At 22 Ryll Court Drive, Exmouth

Parking for the AGM will be outside St Joseph’s School, Regents Gate, Exmouth EX8 1TA. When these spaces are full, there is additional parking at Regents Gate. Please note there is no parking at Ryll Court Drive. Access to Ryll Court Drive will be signed on the footpath through from Regents Gate and is less than a minute’s walk away.

For those attending the AGM, Devon Orienteering Club will provide a selection of pizzas to include vegetarian and vegan options. Please let Helen (email hidden; JavaScript is required) know if you will be attending and whether you would like a pizza option. No email by Mon 23 Oct – no pizza! Please also bring your own alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages.

6. Membership fees and levies for 2023 (decided at an Extraordinary Committee Meeting held on 25 September 2023. To be included in minutes of AGM for reference.)

7. Election of Officers and Committee. See table on page 2 for current and vacant positions.

  1. Nominations are invited for those positions indicated by blue font.

b. All the other current Officers and Committee members are eligible and prepared to remain in post for 2023.

8. Amendments to the Constitution.

9. Awards:

a. The Tom Chesters Junior Trophy (for an ‘outstanding junior or group of junior members’, recognising that juniors may also be presented with any of the other awards).

  1. Haytor Award (for ‘scaling the heights’ in terms of achievement).
  1. Epic Trophy (for going ‘above and beyond’ in supporting the club and its activities).
  2. Chairman’s Trophy (in recognition of a particularly ‘significant contribution’ to the club)
